NEW MODELS FOR WORKING WITH PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN URBAN CENTERS

RESOLVED, The Episcopal Urban Caucus meeting in Oakland, CA from February 13-16, 2008 calls upon the church to develop ministries to the students, parents, teachers and administrators of public schools to seek solutions to the severe crisis affecting the public school systems in our cities. And be it further,

RESOLVED, The Episcopal Urban Caucus urges the EUC Board to develop a model of that ministry in one of the cities served by members of the EUC. And be it further

RESOLVED, that the Board develop a process by which this model can be replicated in other urban areas served by the Episcopal Church.
